Irish Flag Football

Flag football is a recreational, non-contact version of American football that is played widely as a co-educational sport on college campuses all over the USA.

In international competitions, it is divided into men's and women's teams and focuses on speed and guile rather than strength and muscle.

The sport has been played at international level since 1999 when the American National Football League began to promote it worldwide, but it has since been taken over by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) at world level, by EFAF at a European level and by the IAFA at a National level
